This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Reality Checker to audit licensed customers, in a customer focused and efficient manner in order to maximise opportunities to provide revenue uplift and to contribute to the achievement of departmental budget.

This role is supported by a comprehensive training programme and is offered on a hybrid basis so that you benefit from the balance of working three days a week from our modern office space and two days a week working from home.

You will:

  • Be part of a focused team taking ownership for increased revenue generation for both new and existing customers through targeted uplift in music usage generating/increasing revenue in line with targets set.
  • Consistently achieve key performance indicators in all areas as detailed in your annual objectives, ensuring that service level agreements and key performance indicators are met.
  • Remain flexible in your approach and to work across all sectors with high skills and knowledge on all tariffs.
  • Build working relationships with internal and external customers and be actively involved in any Marketing activity, as and when required.
  • Set appropriate tasks and maintain comprehensive notes relating to due and overdue customers in a timely fashion for relevant staff members to ensure departmental processes are followed.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of core licensing processes and procedures to be able to investigate and resolve invoice mismatches. Thereby ensuring effective collection of payments for invoices with the correct tariff to the licensed business.
  • Become proficient in all internal systems and use them effectively to ensure collection of outstanding amounts, pursuing all business leads in order to generate revenue.
  • Be a referral point for retention activity.
  • Positively promote and educate customers in the importance of paying PPL PRS in order for licensees to comply with legislation and for PPL PRS to collect revenue.

You will:

  • Have the ability to utilise sound reasoning and negotiation skills in order to resolving any issues and queries raised, in such a way as to provide excellent customer service.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel (in particular), PowerPoint and Outlook
  • E12 months experience in a customer service role
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Good attention to detail with good planning and organisational skills
  • Able to work as a team under tight timescales
